Khristy Guebara is a Board Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has been working as a Nurse Practitioner since 2003. Her primary practice is with adults who have been diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness. Khristy is currently the Director of both our Garden City and Dodge City Community Support Services Programs. She has experience in both the inpatient and outpatient treatment setting. Khristy is also responsible for the Compass Haven House, a program for children in crisis or state/police protective custody. When Khristy is not working, she very much enjoys her time with her kids and grandkids. 

Dr. Davies is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who is passionate about caring for the whole person. Coping with chronic health problems can take a toll on a person’s mental health. Working with medically complex clients, she has helped people find wellness in the context of chronic health problems. She is a strong advocate for involving her clients in their treatment by talking to them about the challenges they encounter along the path to wellness. Dr. Davies consults and coordinates creative treatment plans along with other members of the client’s healthcare team both within Compass Behavioral Health and with outside providers. Dr. Davies welcomes people of all ages, including children from the age of six years. Her clinical interests are in geriatrics and long-term care, adults and children with autistic disorder, people who have intellectual disabilities, and people who have chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and cancer, just to name a few. Dr. Davies strongly advocates the application of evidence-based practice principles when recommending treatment options. To keep current, she maintains national board certification in both physical and mental health care, attends educational conferences, and researches scientific journals. Dr. Davies is available for diagnostic evaluations, consultations, second opinions, and longer-term medication management. She can help reduce the cost of mental health treatment by recommending effective, lower cost alternative treatment options, simplifying drug regimens, and connecting clients with resources to improve self-management of medical and psychiatric disorders, and accessing specialized services including genetic testing to evaluate psychiatric drug metabolism. 

Chelsea Gray is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who recognizes the importance of a team-based approach to treating patients across the lifespan. She has a passion for correctional psychiatry and a special interest in caring for individuals with substance use disorders. She provides evidence-based, compassionate care with the goal of improving the quality of life of her patients and their loved ones. Chelsea graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. Prior to working at Compass Behavioral Health, she worked as a registered nurse for 9 years in a variety of settings. She has experience in long-term care, acute care, obstetrics, and hemodialysis. She also has experience in nursing administration, quality improvement, and risk management.

Dr. Henson is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who provides telemedicine services through both Central Kansas Mental Health in Salina as well as Compass Behavioral Health in Garden City and surrounding areas. Dr. Henson graduated from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2005 and proceeded to complete both her residency in General Psychiatry and her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2010. She is board-certified in both General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Henson provides both evaluation and treatment of an array of mental health disorders in kids and teenagers. 

Anthony Garcia is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. Prior to working at Compass, Anthony worked as a registered nurse for six years in an intensive care unit at a local hospital. Anthony was born and raised in Southwest Kansas and has a passion for giving back to the community that helped raise him. While not at work, Anthony enjoys doing DIY projects and spending time with his wife and three young children. 

Jeremy Estell is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Dodge City, KS. Jeremy has been a lifelong resident of the Dodge City area and has spent numerous years striving to take care of the community whether it has been in the emergency room, ICU, medical units, or with geriatrics in long-term care. Jeremy’s background across many facets of healthcare in the area provide invaluable experience to meet the holistic needs of each person he treats. Jeremy treats patients across the lifespan for a variety of mental health disorders ranging from depression, anxiety, and ADHD to impulse control disorders, mood disorders, and schizophrenia. Jeremy strives to stay current on present evidenced based practices in psychiatry through attendance and participation in numerous educational conferences and through scientific research journals and utilizes these when developing treatment plans to help optimize outcomes with treatment. Jeremy places special emphasis on education with his clients to ensure understanding of treatment plan. Jeremy is available for diagnostic evaluations, consultations, second opinions, and long-term medication management services. When not working, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his children and is an avid sports fan. 

Yolanda Cox is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner that is Board certified in the state of Kansas who graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. Yolanda began her nursing career in 2015 and have been a nurse over 9 years at St. Catherine Hospital beginning at the Behavioral Unit. Yolanda provides services for both Children and Adults. She is passionate in helping every individual receive quality and compassionate care. Yolanda treats all mental health disorders ranging in depression, anxiety, mood disorders, schizophrenia ADHD and more. When Yolanda is not at work she likes to travel and spend time with her family.
